OnePulse – Survey Community App

We have all used survey websites before to make a little extra money on the side. These often ask us a series of long questions that take around 10-20 minutes of our time. For many, this can seem like forever and too long, especially for many who may be busy all the time. Fortunately, there is a survey app made for people who want fast and easy surveys they can complete in a matter of minutes.

OnePulse

OnePulse enables users to complete short surveys. They usually take around 3 minutes maximum to complete and offer your XP and payment for rewards. They do give out paid surveys, these depend on how active you are and your demographics/profile information. The app has a big emphasis on a community with its main focus being on user engagement. OnePulse is available on the standard app stores i.e. the Apple Store / Google Play Store as per the below buttons.

Please note that the app is only available in select few countries at the moment, including the United Kingdom, the United States and a few other countries. If you would like to find out more about OnePulse, you can find it on the OnePulse website in more detail here.

Is OnePulse Safe?

OnePulse is a genuine survey app that you can download from your chosen app store. There is no need for you to give away bank details to receive payments as the app only allows you to use a PayPal email to receive payments. I’ve been using this app for almost 3 years and haven’t experienced any malicious activities at all.

As for actual measures they put in place to protect their users, they have good quality encryption, follow MRS and GDPR guidance to ensure data is handled correctly and have solutions and controls in place to ensure people who use the platform are truthful and honest. Through these measures, OnePulse ensures that the platform benefits its users and stops people from abusing the platform.

What Makes OnePulse Great?

Short Surveys

What makes OnePulse better than other survey sites is the short surveys they offer. They are quick and easy to complete and range from various topics you can select. I’ve completed many surveys in around 1-3 minutes due to how quick and easy questions are to answer.

In comparison to other surveys, I’ve completed these a way shorter than average, which doesn’t take up too much of my time at all. This makes OnePulse one of the best survey apps for people who are always on the go or have limited time in their day to do things like long surveys.

Competitions and Incentives

Every so often, usually once per month, OnePulse offers ways to win additional XP and cash prices, which entice you to continue engaging with the app. While cash prizes are available for you to win, you often will be playing for XP, which will help you earn more on surveys the more you get!

Therefore, winning XP points is just as important as cash prices, especially if you intend to complete the paid surveys. The more active you are, the more chances you have to get paid surveys too, so I recommend doing at least 3 or more surveys per day to ensure you get selected for paid surveys as often as possible.

The Community

Another benefit of the platform is the community it has created. Surveys are designed to encourage people to share their views and engage in competitions. These often lead to pulses/surveys that aim to teach you something new, inform you on the news and test your knowledge.

OnePulse feels more like a fun community, rather than just another boring “survey app”. There is never a day on OnePulse where you can’t learn something hence it’s a great survey app for people wanting fun and informative surveys to complete, with the bonus of earning some extra cash.

Affordable for Business Market Research (Not Sponsored)

This point is more for businesses but they offer an affordable way to collect market research as prices start as low as $0.63-$1.30 per credit and $0.21-0.43 per question asked.

According to their website, OnePulse has already worked with businesses like Accenture, Channel 4 and even M&S, which goes to show how popular this survey app can be for businesses.

If you’re planning on running regular surveys as opposed to one-off surveys, they also offer “Unlimited”, which is at an annual flat cost – great if people want that cost-effective solution!

Improvements

With any great app, there are still opportunities to improve the platform. I’ve covered a few potential improvements below which may help make OnePulse even better as a survey platform – if you have your improvements for the platform, please don’t hesitate to post them in the comments below!

Rewards and Achievements

We all love earning badges and rewards in games so why not introduce them in OnePulse! These would encourage more people who don’t get many paid surveys to still feel rewarded for their engagement. Simple rewards for being a member over the years, completing a certain amount of surveys i.e. 25, 50, 100, 200, winning the monthly XP quiz and many other awards depending on what the user does in the OnePulse ad.

All rewards could also be displayed on the user’s profile and be sharable to people on social media to encourage new members to join for these exclusive rewards. Whilst this is only an ideal improvement, it still shows the potential that OnePulse has to increase user engagement.

More Categories and Choice

Another improvement could be with the choice of categories available as there is currently a limited number of these. While this could complicate how surveys are distributed, it may more specific surveys to be sent out.

For example, as I’ve got a disability – I would like to have a channel so that I could receive surveys on improving accessibility in products and services. The main benefit of doing this is that people can get more targeted surveys that suit them.

Get Answering!

Overall, OnePulse as discussed is a fantastic survey app, which showcases how easy it is to create a meaningful community survey app. I look forward to seeing OnePulse continue to grow and provide more ways for its users to provide feedback and views on different topics and subjects.
