Just to introduce myself, I am Sam and run this website. My interests are playing Powerchair Football, attending professional events and music festivals/gigs, blogging over on my secondary website BuyMyAccessibleHome, discussing my experiences with accessible housing and volunteering for Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club, as a Communications Officer.
To keep myself occupied, I do listen to lots of music, playing games on my PC and watching television shows, films and anime series. I would say I’m pretty friendly and approachable and have a lot of experience working as part of a team and collaborating with others. I’m also happy to go out and socialise, whether that be meeting for tea, coffee or the occasional pint.
As you may not know, I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy – this can often making doing daily tasks increasingly difficult. That said, I’ve still managed to get my career started and working hard to get on to the private property ladder. I do find having a disability is only an additional challenge to get over, rather than a blockage to doing what you want to do!
The reason I set up this website is to share my experiences and views on a variety of topics. I’ve already created posts discussing Lush products, the fuelService disability app and many other topics on disability and security (phishing) themed posts.
