I’m Raising Money for Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club

Powerchair Football has been a sport I’ve been playing in my spare time for years. It has helped me learn unique skills and allowed me to make friends with many people. Since starting, I’ve experienced the sport grow and evolve into what it is today – from the storm to the strikeforce chair.

We have started returning to play, attending events such as the Leeds Festival friendly tournament and the West Midlands Regional Powerchair League to prepare ourselves for the WFA National Premiership League in November.

We are a powerchair football sports club that enables disabled individuals to play football through specially engineered powerchairs.

Since being founded in 2005, we are ambitious to continue growing the sports club to enable more players to compete at all levels in both national and regional based leagues.

Our mission is also ensuring that our players can thrive on and off the pitch. We have an incredible team of volunteers, coaches and supporters to ensure this can happen.

Our Mission – NPFC

Due to all the support I’ve received from my club, Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club, I want to thank the club by fundraising money. Even during this difficult time, the club ensured we had all the support we needed to continue working on our progression.

The fundraising page has been set up via Givey. It will last until the end of October to give people time to donate to the page. I may extend the deadline depending on how well this fundraising effort goes.

I intend to use the funds to support the club in the purchase of new equipment that players need. This funding should hopefully enable our teams to compete at the highest level in the sport.

As to support my efforts to raise money for my powerchair football team, please consider sharing and donating. Any support you can give will be highly appreciated!

To get started, please click on the Givey button below. It should then take you over to the thank you NPFC Givey donations page. There you should be able to click “donate” and be able to enter the amount you want to give.

Alternatively, if you would like to join in on raising money for the club, Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club has a tutorial on how to get a fundraiser set up with Givey on their website. Should you want to get involved in the club, please get in contact with them via their website contact form.

Thanks for reading today’s post on my latest fundraising challenge, I hope I can make an impact on my club by doing this – enjoy the rest of your day!
